Euro area annual inflation is expected to be -0.6% in January 2015, down from -0.2% in December 20143, according to a flash estimate4 from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. This negative rate for euro area annual inflation in January is driven by the fall in energy prices (-8.9%, compared with -6.3% in December). Prices are also expected to fall for food, alcohol & tobacco (-0.1%, compared with 0.0% in December) and non-energy industrial goods (-0.1%, compared with 0.0% in December). Only prices for services are expected to increase (1.0%, compared with 1.2% in December). The two European Real Estate Associations CEI and CEPI have been presenting the european real estate market during the Convention and EXPO of the National Association of Realtors, United States. "It was a very successful appearance of our associations" the two presidents of CEI and CEPI, Manuel Negrao and Timo Mutanen declared after the NAR Convention. "NAR is the largest real estate agents association in the world. For the two european associations it was a good chance to bring the european real estate market into the focus of NAR and ist members", said Manuel Negrao. "We have heard from the NAR leadership team 2011 that the Global Alliances of NAR are more and more in the center of the business of american realtors. In some parts of the country more than 60 % of the realtors already had contacts and have made business with foreign buyers and sellers. The meeting will take place on friday, 4th of Neovember during this years NAR Convention. More than a hundred leaders form various real estate associaitions have confirmed their participation. Manuel Negrao, President of CEI, announced during the CEI Board Meeting, that was held in Sofia at the 22nd and 23rd of October this month, that the new association CIMLOP was founded under the influence and great impact of APEMIP. All CEI members associations would like to emphazise the importance of international cooperation in the real estate business. The common roots of the associations that are now working together in the CIMLOP is a strong basis for a business between the countries and the members of the association. During the International Conference about the Implementation of the European Standard EN 15733, held by NREA and CEI in Sofia, it became obvious that the EN 15733 is established in most European countries as a common Standard for the profession of real estate agents in Europe. Lachezar Iskrov, President of the Bulgarian Association of Real Estate Agents, adressed the conference and pointed out that the European Standard is an important step for the developing of national real estate agents laws for several countries such as Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Rosen Plevneliev has sent an address to the conference and emphasized that the government in Bulgaria will more than promote the standard as a professional regulation of the services of real estate agents.
